Thornton-le-Beans Village Hall

The 100 Club results for Apr 2024 are now available on our NEWS page.

Our friendly village lies 3 miles south of Northallerton, North Yorkshire, just east of the main Thirsk road (A168).  The Hall is the former village school at the top of School Lane (DL6 3SN), first converted in the 1950s.  Since the 1990s we have added a new kitchen and toilets, a new floor, underfloor heating, double glazing and free Wi-Fi.

We  offer a safe, warm, well-equipped venue with off-road parking.  It is ideal for committee meetings, courses, adults’ or children’s parties, wedding receptions, social evenings, charity sales and many other events.  We have one main room which holds up to 75 people seated or 120 standing.  There is a smart modern kitchen with a serving hatch to the main room.  There are no steps anywhere in the building, and there is a disabled toilet, so access is not a problem.  For more details see our Facilities and Charges page.

The Hall is in high demand but we always welcome new private hires.  Please visit our Bookings Calendar page first to check whether the date you have in mind is available, and then contact us  to discuss your requirements.
